Following community gynaecology pilots in Rushcliffe and Nottingham West, Greater Nottingham Clinical Commissioning Partnership is considering procuring a Community Gynaecology Service for patients in Nottingham City, Nottingham North and East, Nottingham West and Rushcliffe CCGs. This PIN seeks to raise market readiness for any subsequent tender, but is not itself a formal opportunity. The purpose of the proposed service is to deliver a range of interventions, providing an alternative community setting for first and follow up appointments currently seen in secondary care. The proposed service will improve access and service user experience of services, and promote self-care and improve the health and wellbeing of residents. The Contract value is anticipated to be 590 000 GBP pa. It is envisaged the contract will be let for circa 33 months with a possible extension of any period up to a further 24 months. Services are planned to commence from 1.7.2019.
