Greater Preston and Chorley and South Ribble CCGs have commissioned a new service for a community crisis café.The café will be situated within the community it serves, and to ensure it becomes a community asset will not be situated within a statutory building.The service will be developed and evaluated by people who use its services and the local community, to ensure it becomes a valuable asset that enables people to recover from their episode of mental ill health and encourages resilience in the local population.1 750 000 GBP total of 5 years.The service is expected to be open from 11.00-23.00 (Monday-Friday) and 12.00-23.00 (weekends and bank holidays). The service will be open every day of the year.The contract is for 3 years initially (with the option to extend for a further 2 years). The estimated maximum value of the contract is 350 000 GBP a year. VAT will not be chargeable to the commissioner and the individual bidder will be responsible for any VAT incurred.
