Descriptions
The housing support service for vulnerable adults is a housing support service for single adults, aged 18 years and above, with mental health needs, substance misuse problems, or who have a history of offending who are experiencing, or are at risk of, homelessness.
The service supports individuals in short-term supported accommodation units in addition to offering a floating support service to individuals living in other types of accommodation.
The provider will have additional responsibilities of carrying out housing management of furnished supported accommodation, entering into lease, housing management, or service level agreements with a number of social landlords.
Engagement
The Council is conducting online Market Engagement by issuing a Market Engagement document which provides an overview of the current service, the client profile, and key strategic priorities and outcomes for the future. The Council is seeking input from the housing support market, requesting engagement by way of response to a set of questions which will inform the development of the service specification and ensure the best outcomes for Sutton residents. Information and access to the Market Engagement is availableon the ETender Portal at www.londontenders.org and responses will be collected by way of form completion.
