Descriptions
The Contracting Authority wishes to appoint a single firm to act as its insurance broker, with effect from April 2015, to provide the following services: (i) protect the Port's reputation, finances and operations and satisfy compliance requirements; (ii) support and advise on best practice in insurance risk management; (iii) ensure value for money is achieved in negotiating the Port's insurances; and (iv) source and/or service the insurances required by the Port. The coverage and levels of insurances required are subject to change based on the Port's requirements and advice of the insurance broker.The Contracting Authority wishes to align renewal dates for all insurances. The successful broker will therefore be required to ensure that all required insurances are renewed/put in place (as appropriate) prior to June 2015.
