Computeraid Ltd, as part of its Business ICT Training Project, is seeking suitably qualified and experienced trainers to deliver ICT training in Newport. The training will be for SMEs. The project will run for four years but we are initially looking to recruit IT trainers to deliver the training on one-year contracts. Successful contractors will be placed on a register of trainers who will be invited to offer training as required. Whilst we anticipate running 4 courses per year in Newport it should be noted that the amount of training required over the period may increase or decrease dependent on demand.Training courses will run one-day-a-week for fifteen weeks (i.e. on the same day of the week). Trainers would work 9am-5pm with appropriate breaks.The training course will deliver the BCS ITQ User Level 2 qualification. Trainers would need to be ECDL qualified and have excellent skills in Office 2007/2010 in particular Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Internet, Outlook, IT Fundamentals, File Management and IT security. Ability to use a bespoke database is desirable.Trainers will be required to invigilate exams.Trainers would also need to deliver training modules on equal opportunities, environmental sustainability, equality and diversity. All training materials will be supplied.
