Lache Masterplanning Consultancy
Descriptions
Cheshire West and Chester Council wishes to commission suitably experienced and qualified consultants to develop a Masterplan and Vision for Lache, Chester. The commission will explore the development of the land and community assets in Lache and undertake the production of a Masterplan. The purpose of the work is to produce a comprehensive and implementable master plan that will set out a clear approach for regeneration and improvements within the ward boundary of the Lache neighbourhood. The scope of services consists of four elements 1. Community engagement 2. Site analysis 3. Feasibility and options development 4. Master-plan design. Addressing design issues, private and public development opportunities and local aspirations. The Masterplan should provide a practical toolkit for Cheshire West and Chester Council, Sanctuary Housing Association and other partners as they take forward regeneration proposals. The plan should be ambitious and realistic as to what can be achieved demonstrating that investment and quality design are necessary to create a buoyant social and economic neighbourhood identifying the opportunities to develop its environmental assets and affordable housing that it will maintain and build upon the strong identity of its residents. An underpinning consideration for the commission will be the engagement and involvement of the local community to influence future opportunities over the short, medium and long-term.
