TVCA is currently considering options for the transport bid into the Levelling Up Fund. One of the projects currently being considered for inclusion in a potential Teesworks/Freeport connectivity package bid, alongside the Northallerton-Eaglescliffe W12 Gauge Clearance project, is the A66 maintenance project. Whilst Middlesbrough Council has undertaken a significant amount of work on project development, there is a need to produce a Department for Transport (DfT) compliant Full Business Case (FBC). This is a requirement of the Levelling Up Fund.
