This contract has already been awarded and is published for transparency purposes. The Department has contracted the supplier to develop an overarching standard which will allow warranty and assurance businesses, and insurance and lending providers, to have a benchmark of measurable requirements against a common good practice Publicly Available Specification (PAS) standard. The PAS should benefit designers, manufacturers and installers/developers adopting Modern Methods of Construction (MMC). The contract has now been extended as a result of a change of resource with regard to the role of Technical Author. The project is now scheduled to conclude no later than 31 March 2025, and therefore the contract end date has been extended to match this new date.
