NHS North East London Integrated Care Board are seeking to procure an Individual Placement and Support Service. The Individual Placement and Support (IPS) service is an evidence-based support route to employment for people with serious mental health issues (SMI). Providing individual placement support into employment for adults with serious mental health issues is a continued requirement of the NHS Long Term Plan 2019-2024 and operating guidance for 2024 and beyond. There is a ring-fenced Service development fund in-order to grow and expand access to employment for this marginalised group. The proposed contract term will be 36 months with the option to extend (to be confirmed) at the sole discretion of the Authority. The contract will start in 1 April 2026.

Engagement

NHS North East London Integrated Care Board (NEL ICB), hereafter referred to as "The Authority", invites interested individuals and Providers to attend a Market Engagement Event to be held online (via MS Teams) on Wednesday the 2nd of July 14:00pm - 16:00pm. The Event will provide: - An overview of the current and proposed service provision. - Details of the anticipated contract type, length, and particular conditions. - An overview of the proposed commissioning approach and procurement route. - Indicative timescales for the procurement. Registration: Reservations are limited to no more than 3 individuals per organisation. Details of those to be invited must be sent to the Procurement Lead (Sara.O'Donnell@nhs.net) by Monday the 30th of June at 14:00pm.
