New FE Provider 'spokes' to the Centres for Excellence in SEND
Descriptions
Historically, employment for disabled people remains relatively low and has declined even further since the start of the Covid 19 pandemic. Recent figures highlight that whilst 81% of non-disabled people are in employment, only 52% of disabled people are in employment. The Education and Training Foundation (ETF) wish to address this by commissioning up to 6 new FE providers who have had success in securing employment for their learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) through this invitation to tender. An FE provider will be appointed in each of the following regions of England: North West; North East; Yorkshire and Humber; West Midlands; London; South East. Tenderers can bid for more than one region where applicable. A separate tender response document must be completed for each region.
