Construction work for highways. Road construction works. Landscaping work. Drainage construction works. The Home and Communities Agency (HCA) is seeking to procure a new access road. The Contract is to construct approximately 1 400 m length of new access road including all associated ancillary works, off Broadmoor Road at Forest Vale Industrial Estate, Cinderford, linking with the A4136 at the site of the former Northern United Colliery site at Cinderford. The work may be undertaken in several phases to accord with funding availability. Should the delivery of the access road need to be split, this will be in the form of three phases, each approximately 400 m, 700 m and 300 m in length respectively from Broadmoor Road in the south, to the A4136 in the north. In this respect, it is anticipated that the duration of the contract will be 24 months if let as a single contract, extending to a maximum of 48 months if let as a 3-phase contract.
