NWL0118 Provision of Identification and Referral to Improve Safety (IRIS) Training Services across 4 boroughs in North West London

Descriptions

NHS North West London (NHS NW London) requires the provision of Identification and Referral to Improve Safety (IRIS) Training Services in various General Practices (GPs) across four (4) of the North West London boroughs: Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham and Westminster. IRIS is a general practice based domestic abuse training, support and referral programme for female patients aged 16 and above experiencing abuse from a current partner, ex-partner or family member. The training must be delivered in line with the IRIS standard on a practice-by-practice basis and is either delivered face to face or virtually depending on the General Practice requirements. Each General Practice identified needs to have the initial three training sessions (more if there is a turnover of staff etc). The success of the IRIS model informed the NICE guidance (NICE, 2014: recommendations 15 & 16) on effective primary care responses to Domestic Violence and Abuse and the associated NICE quality standards that have been published to support these (NICE, 2016). At the level of commissioning, the NICE guidance makes recommendations that health commissioners, and their strategic partners, develop coordinated commissioning strategies that include integrated training and referral pathways for patients affected by domestic violence and abuse. NHS NW London considers how it needs to secure the needs of the people, improve the quality and efficiency, and how the service can be provided in an integrated way. The purpose of this notice is to be transparent about NHS NW London's intentions to award a contract to Advance from 10th August 2022 for six (6) months with an estimated value of £240,000.00. Capable providers may come forward by 17:00 on 8th August 2022 to engage with NHS NW London. If it is the case that multiple capable providers come forward, a procurement process will be undertaken. In your response to this opportunity, please advise your interest and demonstrate capacity and capability to deliver this service via: https://airtable.com/shr52NBGIuyGSsvoY Please note that Suppliers must be able to service the GPs in the required locations as mentioned above.
