Oxfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group (OCCG) seeks to commission an Integrated Urgent Eye Care and Referral Refinement Service within Oxfordshire. The service will offer same-day appointments, triage, diagnosis and treatment for minor eye conditions relating to flashes and floaters, visual disturbance, red eye and lid swelling and will be made available in at least 6 locations within the region. The Referral Refinement element will offer repeat IOP pressure readings, visual testing for query glaucoma referrals and colour fundus photography for a small number of referrals from ophthalmologists. Contract value:£334,604 pa. This procurement is being carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the commissioners.
