Passenger Rolling Stock — Supply and Maintenance.
Descriptions
Framework Agreement for the supply and optional maintenance of passenger rolling stock to cover suburban, commuter and long distance services to cater for Rail Franchise bids which are anticipated to be offered to the market by the Department for Transport (DfT) or any other UK statutory body in 2016/17. These are likely to encompass, but not limited to, the following rail franchises:— South Western Franchise.— Intercity West Coast Franchise.— West Midlands Franchise.— East Midlands Franchise.— South Eastern Franchise.Supply, with an option for conducting maintenance (identified separately), of fleets of passenger rolling stock to meet the requirements for the anticipated Rail Franchises (as outlined in II.1.1) that are envisaged to be offered for bid during 2016/17. The potential Procurement will be based upon a Framework Agreement containing Lots 1 through to 5 and also containing sub Lots within each main Lot where required. However, Stagecoach Rail Holdings Ltd, or any of its subsidiaries reserves the right to amend this list as required in the event that the DfT or any other UK statutory body amend their potential Franchising programme, or that the Stagecoach Rail Holdings Ltd or any of its subsidiaries decides to either bid for any newly offered opportunities or declines to bid for any of the envisaged Franchises.Expressions of interest are invited from organisations that can demonstrate through a Pre Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) process that they can meet the outline Conditions for Participation as set out in this document. It should be noted that further more detailed information will be supplied in any subsequent Invitation to Tender issued.
