Dudley and Walsall Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust is conducting a procurement exercise in conjunction with Black Country Partnership NHS Foundation Trust for the provision of a pharmacy service. Both NHS Trusts have been exploring ways of working closer together and plan to become one organisation in early 2020 subject to regulatory approval.The Trust(s) are looking for a comprehensive, high-quality pharmacy service which represents value for money (vfM) and complies with national standards.The contract comprises of the following elements:— procurement and storage of pharmaceutical products,— supply of pharmaceutical products for in and out patient use,— clinical stock management,— management of clozapine dispensing,— out of hours service provision,— financial and clinical management information,— dispensing in compliance aids as needed,— dispensing of daily instalments of medicines if required,— medicines information,— clinical trials support.
