The Activities are predominantly the delivery of key development activity for the Client programmes and operations including:•Geological Disposal Facility Programme (GDF Programme): Site characterisation activities to enable the Geological Disposal Facility (GDF), including the drilling of deep boreholes to characterise potential geology to hosft a GDF, which falls within the definition of a “nationally significant infrastructure project”. •Near Surface Disposal Programme (NSD Programme): Near Surface Disposal activities. •Ongoing operation and development of the licenced Low Level Waste Repository at Drigg, including capping of vaults.
