Descriptions
The Plumbing and Heating Services tender will establish a compliant contract for delivering ad hoc plumbing and heating maintenance services across the Trust’s sites. The contract will be to provide plumbing and heating maintenance services in respect of sanitary ware, pipework, and ground level drainage at the Trust’s sites in terms of repairs, supply, new installations, commissioning, servicing and statutory checks. Suppliers must demonstrate strong technical capability, including, managing emergency response times, and maintaining compliance with safety legislation and staff competency requirements.
Engagement
The premarket engagement involved sending an Expression of Interest (EOI) to a selected group of suppliers to gauge market capability before starting a formal procurement. The EOI was shared with relevant framework suppliers and incumbent providers to understand who is interested and able to deliver the required services. This process helps the Trust assess market capacity and confirm supplier readiness.
