Pre Tender Engagement Paper— Primary Care Talking Therapies for Belfast Health and Social Care Trust
Descriptions
It is expected that this service for primary care talking therapies will incorporate individual short-term outcome focused interventions including Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and other psychological therapies to include Inter-personal therapy (IPT), integrative therapy, short-term psychodynamic psychotherapy, life coaching and other interventions recognised in line with Nice Clinical Guidance 123. It is intended that service users will be those who are registered with BHSCT GP practices and who have presented to their GP with a common mental health disorder as defined by NICE Clinical Guidance 123.
