Clinical Commissioning Groups are required by NHS England to commission and fund extra capacity to ensure that everyone has access to GP services, including sufficient routine and same day appointments at evenings and weekends to meet locally determined demand, alongside effective access to other primary care and general practice services such as urgent care services.HWLH CCG wishes to procure this service for 50 % (84 500 patients) of the GP registered population during 2018/19, increasing to 100 % of the population by April 2019. The provider may choose to cover this 50 % by working from 2 of the 4 locality ‘hubs’, or across all four locality ‘hubs’.The maximum value of the contract for 2018/19 is 510 267 GBP which equates to 6 GBP per head of registered population for 50 % of our population.
