Productionising the Performance Hub

In CP6 year one the programme manager for timetable performance undertook a bespoke Proof of Concept (POC) activity to assist Capacity Planning Analysts and Planners who wanted to understand how punctuality trains were against the Working Timetable (WTT) in order to assist with performance based considerations for service alterations. The POC was created using Tableau, a business intelligence application that allows visualisation of data. Users could access the POC via the internet using a web browser. The POC of Performance Hub currently uses Tableau and requires user interaction to run updates to the data. It is now proposed that a ‘productionised’ and supported version of the Proof of Concept Performance Hub is developed.
