Provision of Analytical Testing of Fuels, Lubricants and Associated Products

Descriptions

Fuel, oil, lubricant and grease products are required to support most MoD platforms and equipment’s used throughout Defence. The Front Line Commands (FLC) requirement for analytical support covers all elements of training and operational activities; it is therefore essential to ensure that all products used within the military environment are fit for purpose. This is achieved by ensuring that the correct quality management process is in place, during both the procurement and the transfer of product into MoD use. Quality of products once transferred into MoD storage is monitored by DSFA through analysis of bulk product quality throughout the supply chain by Defence Standards and informed by NATO STANAGs.
