The successful tenderer will be required to provide catering services at The Royal National College for the Blind.The contract will commence on 1 May 2013 for a period of three years.The current notional sales value is circa 250 000 GBP per annum, or just over 6 000 GBP per week. In addition there are food sales of just over 50 000 GBP from conferences, external bookings, etc.There is a great opportunity for the contractor to develop the external hospitality service due to the College having a superb residential facility, which would be suitable as a self-contained conferencing and wedding venue.Additionally the current College building is due to be let to a local College, who will require a catering provision and will have 300-400 students on site.
