The successful tenderer will be required to provide catering services at Bristol Cathedral Choir School and Cathedral Primary School.Bristol Cathedral Choir School provides high-quality education and care in the centre of Bristol. Since opening as an Academy in September 2008, BCCS has become Bristol's most popular secondary school, receiving more than six applications for each Year 7 place.Together, BCCS and Cathedral Primary School form a new Bristol family of schools for children aged from four all the way through to 18. BCCS is proud to offer the most modern facilities in its city-centre campus, which comprises both new buildings and historic locations, such as Pates Hall, the Sixth Form Centre. The Cresswell Centre includes a magnificent performing arts space, together with Art rooms and spacious catering facilities. All existing areas of the School have been redeveloped or refurbished in recent years, including the Deanery, which now offers a combined administrative centre and conference suite overlooking College Square.The contract being offered is for a 3-year term from 1.9.2014, with a possible 2-year extension. Currently the catering services are self-operated, with an annual turnover of circa 185 000 GBP (excluding after school events).Current services offered are breakfast club, mid-morning break, lunch and after school events as required. Operating days: 175 plus 5 inset days.Senior School: 777 pupils plus 130 teaching and support staff.Primary School: 123 pupils plus 10 teaching and support staff.
