Crossflow is developing a new (Pre-Production Prototype or PPP) variable speed wind turbine as part of a fully integrated 7kW system to provide reliable, cost efficient power in areas where mains electricity is either unreliable or unavailable. The PPP has a significantly low design Tip Speed Ratio (TSR) in comparison to conventional turbines. It is anticipated that Multi-Wall Polycarbonate Sheets can be used in the construction of the turbine. Crossflow engineering are considering two materials for the blades of the turbine, this RFQ is relating to the Pultrusion GRP option.This RFQ is for an aerofoil shape GRP Pultrusion of constant profile. The overall dimensions of the profile is 572mm wide x 202mm high. A drawing of the section profile will be made available once an NDA has been signed.
