Quotation for the supply of capital equipment and associated items.Fforest Farm is seeking quotations for the supply and installation of a number of items of equipment that relate to the development of a robotic milking system with associated investment in the facility to build efficiency in the business.Quotations are invited by suppliers for the following equipmentRobotic Milking System and ancillary equipmentThe business is seeking the supply, installation and commissioning of a robotic milking system to include two robots with capacity to each milk 70 cows per day; Electronic herd management system and ID individual cow neck tags.The system requirement is for 160 cow herd of which 140 cows will be milking at any one time and quotations are invited for suitable systems on this basis.The invitation to tender also includes supply of an automated gateway system to facilitate automated grazing management and extended grazing opportunities.Tenders are invited only on the basis of the supplier being able to provide appropriate aftercare and servicing of equipment, plus call out for breakdown within reasonable time frames given the intensive nature of the business.The equipment and services will need to be installed at Fforest Farm as per the contact detailsScoring CriteriaThe scoring criteria will be based 90% weighting on price and 10% weighting on the commissioning and transitional arrangements for the installation, including follow up visits and aftercare including call out arrangements.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at http://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=62929.
