UKAEA wishes to procure, on behalf of RACE, up to three twin-arm haptic manipulators, complete with electrical and control systems, to deliver key aspects of a research and training programme. The scope shall include delivery and installation of the manipulators at RACE’s facility in Culham, Oxfordshire, UK. It shall also include training of operators. Whilst the manipulators subject to this procurement are not intended for deployment in nuclear environments, it is essential to ensure validity of the research and training programme’s results.
