Descriptions
The purpose of this RFI is to gauge market interest for the provision of a Community Endoscopy Service and provide the CCG with valuable information to help update and improve the current service specification.NHS Brighton and Hove CCG intends to commission a service which will provide GPs access to endoscopy services in a range of settings, including; dedicated diagnostic centres, GP centres, secondary care and at a variety of mobile locations across Brighton and Hove, working alongside BSUH.Commissioners are considering commissioning a Community Endoscopy Service under a single provider contract. The service is to be offered at payment by results (PbR) tariff for approximately 1,540 endoscopy procedures per annum.It is anticipated that the service would be offered for tender under a standard NHS contract for a period of 3 years commencing on the 1.10.2017 with option to extend for a maximum of a further two years.
