Royal Cornwall Museum - Roof Replacement Works (MEND)

This tender is for the appointment of a Contractor to undertake roof replacement works at the Royal Cornwall Museum in Truro. The works have been designed by professional consultants through RIBA stages 1 to 4. This tender is for the construction phase, RIBA stage 5. Please note the £750,000.00 is a minimum figure only, tendering contractors are required submit a priced tender return based on their judgement of the value of the works. A principle outline of the scope of works are as follows: - Replacement of the pitched slate roof coverings - Replacement of the flat roof coverings - Thermal improvement works - Installation of rainwater goods - External render repair - Installation of new external staircase - Replacement of louvered doors Please refer to the tender documentation within the appendixes. All tendering contractors will be expected to visit site to familiarise themselves with the scheme prior to providing a tender price. During the tender process, tender visits to Royal Cornwall Museum will be on an appointment only basis. Tendering contractors shall have experience in delivering projects of a similar nature on public sector building within a city centre location.
