SC2010 - Emergency Tree Works Contract 2021
Descriptions
Lot 1 will cover the districts of Maidstone, Dartford, Gravesham, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge & Malling and Tunbridge Wells. It is anticipated that the service will be provided across all twelve Districts in Kent. Work volumes will be dictated by the weather and where emergency situations occur, which varies from year to year. The annual spend for the general emergency response service for KCC owned trees will be in the region of £145k -£190k per annum. This does not include provision for extreme weather events., The service will primarily serve the Highways Transportation & Waste however, it will be important that the contract has the flexibility to be able to provide an alternative response for other departments, such as Public Rights of Way and Cycle Lanes.
