Cranfield University would accordingly like to invite you to tender for the installation and commissioning of a sensor system for measuring and controlling atmosphere in fruit storage.Cranfield University's faculty of School of Water, Energy and Environment is collaborating with the British Apple Industry, who is continuously being asked by UK retailers to extend availability of fresh produce; this being achieved by implementing ever more sophisticated storage technologies.Grant funding for this project is provided by Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC).As part of this opportunity the University will require a total quantity of 6 x Sensor Systems for Measuring and Controlling Atmosphere in Fruit Storage.
