Descriptions
Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group seeks to commission home oxygen service — assessment and review and community pulmonary rehabilitation services for patients registered with a Somerset GP. The procurement is split into 2 lots to provide maximum flexibility to commissioner and bidders, these are:1) home oxygen service, assessment and review;2) community pulmonary rehabilitation the contract will be for an initial term of 2 years, with an option to extend for any period up to a further 2 years, as defined and at the sole discretion of the commissioner. Services are scheduled to commence on 1.10.2019. The available budget per annum, exclusive of recoverable VAT is:1) home oxygen: 200 000 GBP;2) pulmonary rehabilitation: 222 000 GBP. This gives a maximum possible contract value for the combined services of 1 688 000 GBP if the full contract term is fulfilled. This procurement is being carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit on behalf of the commissioner.
