DIASwill ensure that allender bidders willhave an opportunityo quote for theactualspecifications ofhe winningsolution, either byrequesting updatedquotes from theender bidders orannouncing a newender. The minimalrequirements to bemet by the proposedsolution are asfollows:- 2 rack units sizemounted on movingrails;- at least 2redundant powersupplies;- 2 processors(Preferably Intelbased) with theminimal turbofrequency of 3.5GHz,4 memory channelsper processoroperating at theminimum speed of2133MHz each and 2processorsinterconnectchannels operatingat the minimum speedof 9.6 GT/s each;- at least 12physical cores perprocessor;- at least 512 GBRAM running at theminimum speed of2133MHz (all 8available processormemory channels mustbe in use);- two independentSSD arrays, each ofhem consisting of:- a hardware RAIDcontroller with atleast 2GB ofbattery-protected ornon-volatile memorycache, full supportof RAID6 and SSD I/Oacceleration(FastPath orequivalent ifavailable);- at least 8solid-state driveswith the minimumcapacity of 400GBper drive,sequentialread/write speedsnot lower than500MB/sec, random4KB read/writespeeds not lowerhan 50000/20000IOPs and writeendurance of atleast 0.3 drivewrites per day over5 years;- at least two SFP+1/10Gigabit EthernetPorts compatiblewith Intel ixgbeLinux driver;- an integratedremote accesscontroller providingvirtual console andvirtual mediafacilities as wellas IPMI 2.0 support;- no softwareinstallation orlicence is required.-All systemcomponents must becompatible withLinux. Compatibilitywith FreeBSD wouldbe a plus.
