The Collection and Sale of Separated Collections of Paper and Card for Lincolnshire County Council

Lincolnshire County Council, as the Waste Disposal Authority, currently collects mixed recycling but is looking to move towards a source separated approach. Following a successful trial of separated paper and card collections across 7 158 households within 3 Districts, LCC is looking to establish contract/contracts with providers to whom we will direct source separated paper and card. We will be rolling out the source separated collection on a District by District basis and would like to meet with providers who have the capacity to take the current tonnage of cardboard and paper collected in order to understand the current market position and to inform our specification and the commercial arrangement.
