Descriptions
Carmarthenshire County Council is looking to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the supply of services relating to Ash Dieback and other tree felling works. Contractors will be required to be suitably qualified and experienced to undertake works primarily associated with Highways, however the DPS will also provide for Ash Dieback and other tree felling works on housing sites, industrial estates, school and other sites located and owned within Carmarthenshire. Additionally, there may be the requirement for works to be undertaken on private land at the Council’s request and emergency tree felling works. The DPS will be operated on a fully electronic basis and is open to new entrants throughout its term who meet the minimum criteria specified in the tender documents. All PIN Pre-tender information is for guidance only and may be subject to change prior to the contract notice being issued. A supplier event is planned to take place shortly. This will be a virtual event and details of how to log in will be issued to all who have registered their interest. Please refer to further details in Section II.2.4 below.
