The fast confocal microscope system covered by this requirement is intended to provide the Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge with a high-speed multichannel fluorescence imaging system capable of super-resolution imaging and optimised for live sample imaging (minimised photo-bleaching and phototoxicity).The system shall be capable of fluorescence imaging of live cultured cells, motile live cells, freely moving small model organisms and of live tissue explants.We are looking for a ‘latest generation’ instrument that offers improvements in imaging performance over our existing spinning disk confocal microscope.
