Exhibition designer for a new gallery on the theme of home, created as part of the museum's capital development project, Unlocking the Geffrye. The gallery will engage the museum's audiences further with our rich collections of domestic objects, allow us put more of these collections on display and expand on our theme of home — socially, geographically and thematically.The gallery will be located on the lower ground floor of the Grade I listed 18th Centuary almshouses the museum occupies and will be approximately 200 m2. The exhibition designer will develop the design for the gallery through to installation and completion in 2019; the process will be collaborative, working mainly with the Collections, Learning and Engagement team and with our audiences through various audience panels.
