The DIAS now invitesenders for thesupply andmaintenance of onepower efficientvirtualisationserver. DIASreserves the righto purchaseadditional serversin accordance withhe terms of thewinning proposal. Specification ofRequirements Potential suppliersare welcome to quotefor upgrade optionsexceeding theseminimalrequirements. DIASwill ensure that allender bidders willhave an opportunityo quote for theactualspecifications ofhe winningsolution, either byrequesting updatedquotes from theender bidders orannouncing a newender. The minimalrequirements to bemet by the proposedsolution are asfollows:- 2 rack units sizewith at least 8x3.5” hot-swappabledrive bays, mountedon moving rails;- at least 2redundant powersupplies;- 2 processors(Preferably Intelbased) with theminimal turbofrequency of 2.9GHz,4x DDR4 memorychannels perprocessor operatingat the minimum speedof 1866MHz each and2 processorsinterconnectchannels operatingat the minimum speedof 8GT/s each. Theaverage rated TDPper processor mustnot exceed 55W;- at least 8physical cores perprocessor;- at least 64 GB RAMrunning at theminimum speed of1866MHz (all 8available processormemory channels mustbe in use);- at least 2solid-state driveswith the minimumcapacity of 480GBper drive,sequentialread/write speedsnot lower than500MB/sec, randomread/write speedsnot lower than 50000IOPs and writeendurance of atleast 3 drive writesper day over 5years;- a hardware RAIDcontroller with atleast 512MB ofbattery-protected ornon-volatile memorycache, full supportof RAID6 and SSD I/Oacceleration(FastPath orequivalent ifavailable);- at least two SFP+1/10 Gigabit EthernetPorts andcompatiblewith Intel ixgbeLinux driver;- an integrated IPMI2.0 compatiblebaseboard managementcontroller capableof IPMI-over-LAN issufficient;- no softwareinstallation orlicenc
