VT/SL/Provision of security services at railway stations.
Descriptions
Virgin Trains require the services of a security contractor to provide staffed guarding services at various railway stations. The guarding service is required initially at 10 stations (plus other locations as and when required). In addition to these core services, security officers will be required to provide customer service and ancillary tasks in support of Virgin Trains staff and customers, subject to requirements.Tenderers need to be aware that the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 (as amended) shall apply to the Contract.The successful tenderer would be awarded a contract for 2 years commencing 1.4.2015.
