Westminster City Council ('the Authority') is seeking to appoint a service provider to deliver asset registers to its corporate properties. An asset register identifies all the relevant fixed assets of a property and is a key tool for the effective management of these; it provides clear data on asset: -Category (i.e. electrical / mechanical / fabric), -Type (i.e. motor, door, electrical distribution), -Manufacturer (make, model, rating, serial number), -Life cycle (installation date, remaining operational expectancy), -Risk factor (impact of asset failure against business continuity) -Operational demand (occasional, regular, 24/7), -Condition The Authority intenders for this register to enables the design of a bespoke and cost effective annual planned preventive maintenance programme.
