The purpose of the ITT is to obtain proposals for the provision of services which will form Work and Health Programme Job Entry: Targeted Support (JETS) programme, a coordinated service providing early support which will complement the broader labour market offer of help through a sector-based approach that responds to local priorities. A single contract will be awarded per lot. The specification sets out the Shaw Trust’s priorities to provide early support which will complement the more comprehensive labour market offer of help through a sector-based and light touch provision that includes, but is not limited to, transferable skills analysis, CV writing, job search, interview skills, self-efficacy and confidence building. It is anticipated that the service will be predominately delivered remotely, utilising Microsoft Teams, to engage large groups of participants with the option of more intensive one-to-one remote or face-to-face facilities available for those participants who may require an additional level of support. Successful partners will be required to ensure support is available to people who have been out of work and in receipt of benefits for at least 13 weeks, to help them achieve paid employment by supporting each Participant to develop realistic job goals and career paths; identify suitable and achievable steps to realise these goals. The funding model will be on a Cost + 5 % surplus basis. Subject to negotiations, Shaw Trust reserves the right to introduce an alternative payment model should a decision be made by DWP to exit the Cost + payment model.
