Descriptions
Wokingham Borough Council has recently published its new community vision aiming for safe, strong communities which protect and safeguard our children, young and vulnerable people, offering quality care and support, at the right time, to prevent the need for long term care. Integral to the vision is the corporate delivery plan which states how we will work together to shape services to meet needs of our residents, empowers them to live independent and healthy lives. Currently our fully-integrated substance misuse service contract expires e/o June 21. WBC wishes to consult organisations with relevant delivery experience to secure the views of market participants on potential service delivery models to identify preferred commissioning models and in planning the future procurement procedures. Procurement should commence in Autumn 2020, though WBC can offer no guarantees. WBC will host a Market Discovery workshop (location/ web access TBC) on Wed 19 August 2020, 10.00-13.00. Organisations wishing to participate should submit an expression of interest by 23.59, Friday 31 July 2020 via the ProContact portal advert.
