Estimated critical parameters for specification: • 3 He dilution refrigerator with pulse tube refrigerator to provide dry operation; • base temperature < 30 mK; • cooling power at 100 mK > 200 μW; • full thermometry suite including temperature controllers; • includes full charge of 3 He; • 4 r.f. lines and connectors to 40 GHz, from RT to mixing chamber plate; • 24 low frequency lines; • 1T up to 8 T magnet (bore > 70 mm) including magnet power supply; • stand for dry dilution fridge and rack for associated electronics; • overall height not to exceed 2 800 mm, including pipework.
