The NHS Wales Informatics Service (NWIS) is keen to support innovative companies to create solutions and support the development of emergent technologies by progressing with a cutting edge procurement project to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Digital Patient Services Partners.This will be the first ever DPS created in Health in the UK and within any known ICT market. DPS are a relatively new and untested procurement process that is believed will have significant benefit not only for the NHS but also as a catalyst to create innovative and agile markets.
