This Prior Information Notice (PIN) relates to a requirement for the supply and delivery of IN100 material to the Advanced Forming Research Centre (AFRC). The supplier must provide a high temperature material for the manufacture of an isothermal die stack capable of operating within an isothermal forging vacuum chamber at a temperature of 1 200 °C and loads of up to 2000 tons. The material required is IN100, which needs to take temperature up to 500 °C.
