To understand the current and future market direction for a fully automated Blood Grouping, antibody screening, immunohaematology solution and reagents for the purposes of patient and donor testing in a blood establishment. Alternative innovative approaches to ways of working and testing will be considered. This exercise is to inform the development of a specification and business case. Testing to be performed: ABO Grouping (forward and reverse)and RhD typing. Rh/K, (C, c, E, e,) phenotyping Extended antigen typing Red cell antibody screening and identification DAT Testing (including monospecific DAT) High titre anti-a and anti-B testing Antibody screening of blood for neonatal use Serial dilutions for titration studies Cross-matching Haemoglobin S detection Service is prepared to consider relatable and innovative solutions.
