SLaM - 3rd Sector Workers - Lived Experience Support & BAME Community
Descriptions
South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, on behalf of Partnership Southwark, has an opportunity to invest in growing the workforce for community mental health services in Southwark which we want to approach in partnership with local voluntary and community sector organisations. We want to work with the local third sector to enhance our community mental health teams. We will be running a procurement process and inviting local organisations to submit bids to provide one or both of the following roles to work as part of our front line teams: •Lived Experience Support Workers •Community Development Workers, to focus on working with BAME communities In line with the NHS Long Term Plan, we are aiming to modernise and improve the delivery of mental health care in the borough. We are committed to improving the experience of people who use mental health services and their carers, and enabling people to access the right care at the right time. As part of this we want to do some targeted work with BAME communities to improve trust and confidence in our services and start to eliminate the unacceptable racial disparities we see in access, experience and outcomes. We publish all our open sourcing requirements via the "Health Family Single eCommercial System" portal. https://health-family.force.com/s/Welcome This is used by many organisations across the NHS and wider Health System to manage tendering and contract management activity. By registering on the system you will be able to see opportunities across all these organisations.
