Southampton Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) Service

Further to the recent PIN notice (2021/S 000-000896) and corresponding RFI process, NHS Hampshire, Southampton and Isle of Wight CCG invites Providers to tender for the Southampton Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) Service. , The service will work to achieve the following outcomes:, •Increase the number of people with common mental health disorders, including those with co-morbid long-term health conditions, who receive treatment in accordance with NICE guidance, •Improved speed of access and response, •Increased number of people moving to recovery, •Improved service user choice, •Support into education, employment and training., The service will commence on 1st April 2022, in line with the expiry of the current contract. The contract will be awarded for a period of 2 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years. The Contract envelope for this requirement is £22,327,612 across 4 years., This Contract Notice supersedes the Contract Notice published by NHS Southampton City Clinical Commissioning Group on 26th March 2021 (ref: - 2021/S 000-006238)., In April 2021 NHS Hampshire, Southampton and Isle of Wight Clinical Commissioning Group was created, bringing together six clinical commissioning groups - West Hampshire, Southampton City and Hampshire and Isle of Wight Partnership of CCGs (which enabled closer joint working between Fareham and Gosport, South Eastern Hampshire, the Isle of Wight and North Hampshire CCGs)., Please note that the initial contractual period has been amended from the previously published Contract Notice, this being reduced from 3 years to 2 years, to allow flexibility to build on new ways of working and opportunities for the CCG's local place based IAPT services in the future, and to revise their approach in line with the national direction of travel and the needs of the population., Further to this, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care System (ICS) will form as a statutory health and care body from April 2022, a partnership made up of a wider group of organisations that will bring together partners to develop overarching plans across health, social care and public health to improve population health and reduce inequalities between different groups.
